Domestic Violence: Facts
- Two Women per week are killed by their current or former partner
- It costs 41p/min to fund a worker and all relevant costs to provide vital services for women and children
- At least 750,000 children a year witness domestic violence
- Nearly 3/4 of children on the "at risk" Register live in households where domestic violence occurs
- 1/4 of all recorded crime is related to domestic violence
