Nia Project Mission
We Aim:
- To contribute towards the eradication of violence against women and children
- To empower women and their children to live free from fear of violence
- To provide safe supportive housing for women and children
- To provide information, advice and advocacy for women and children in the community
We will achieve these aims by:
- Providing services that are responsive to the needs of our service users and the local community
- Implementing measures that ensure high quality of service delivery
- Promoting equality of opportunity and diversity in all areas of our work
We also intend to:
- Initiate and participate in research, campaigns and projects which will have wider benefits and a positive impact on our success
- Strengthen existing relationships and build new ones with voluntary sector groups and other partners
- Invest in staff and volunteers
- Raise our public profile
